Valentine’s Day at Hami

Valentine’s Day was a success at Hami. The mariachi band started serenading students a week before Valentine’s day during nutrition and lunch. This was a great way to get students excited for the upcoming holiday!

On Valentine’s Day, students were seen with flowers, teddy bears, candy, and many more gifts. It was a wonderful sight seeing all Yankees send each other love. The mariachi band spent all day singing many songs to students and staff. Anyone at Hami could request an anonymous serenade.

During lunch, there were many activities for Yankees to do. Students were able to go on the quad and enter the “Chapel of Love.” There, students could “get married” to a loved one or friend. The couple would sign a certificate and take a picture. Students were also able to write affirmations and share it with whoever they desire.

Hamilton students definitely know how to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
