Hamilton’s varsity girls’ volleyball team fell short to LACES 3-0 in their game on Monday.
Prior to the game, one of the two team captains for varsity, AMPA senior Saniah Epps-Addison said the team’s intention was “to win or to at least win a set.”
Although the team did not win any sets, Saniah said after the game that they still improved throughout the game.
“Our biggest strength was not giving up and persevering through it and being able to improve set by set,” she said.
Saniah said the team is hoping to step it up in practice to give it their all during their next game against Palisades.
“Our big improvement will be trying to be more focused and to be more committed to making practices,” Saniah said. “Focus on using the time we have at practice and give it our all there, rather than giving 50 percent at practice and struggling to give 100 percent at the game.”
