BITA is having a toy drive. They are accepting all unwrapped and brand new toys for kids ages 5-17 to donate to St. Francis Center. BIT lead teacher Ms. Cooley said the SLC is having the event to bless kids that may not be able to be gifted with things from their parents.
Ms. Cooley is in room T104 for all students that want to participate in this kind act. Ms.Cooley is giving students an opportunity to give 2 toys for extra credit in any class as long as your teacher approves. Give and get back. In Ms. Cooley’s class, every 2 toys you bring you can get 4 extra credit points and can earn up to 20 whole extra credit points in her class.
Ms. Cooley said that the children who receive the toys may be feeling lonely, but she prays this generous act can make them feel loved and appreciated.
“There are people who care about them, and take their time to give them a little happiness for the holiday,” Ms. Cooley said.
