With the school year coming to an end, Hamilton is preparing to celebrate the incredible journey of the Class of 2025. Some seniors had a few things to say about how they felt with meeting the end of school year, and what they would miss the most about school over all.
“I’m really excited about graduating and ready to start a new chapter,” said Jessica Amador, an AMPA senior. “I think what I’ll miss most is seeing everyone every day and the comfort of the familiar. It’s crazy to realize we’re really done. The years flew by with some of my favorite people. Watching everyone grow and accomplish so much has been amazing. I know I’ll feel a little sad because we’re closing such a meaningful chapter, but I’m definitely ready and excited to begin the next one.”
AMPA senior Taejaeya Sanderson said she was facing happiness and sadness regarding graduation.
“I feel bittersweet about graduating,” said Taejaeya. “I’ll miss dance and my friends the most out of everything. Leaving my friends behind, I think I’ll handle it fine but I know i’m going to cry.”
Together, Jessica and Taejaeya remind us that graduation is more than a ceremony; it’s about cherishing the friendships people built, the growth they’ve witnessed in themselves and each other, and embracing the uncertainty of what comes next. To the Class of 2025 graduates, congratulations!
