The team’s offensive plays, however, were met with a resolute Granada Hills defense, preventing the Hami girls from gaining any significant advantage. Despite Granada Hills’ strong defense, the Yankees still came out on top, ending the half 36-31.

The victory propels Hamilton’s girls’ basketball team to the semifinal round of the playoffs, where they will face the Westchester Comets at El Camino College this Saturday at 1 p.m.
Captain #7 Jade Fort, a junior in BIT, said the team is prepared for the upcoming games.
“We’ve been watching a lot of film and studying so I feel like we know what we need to do in order to win,” Jade said.
