2024 ASB candidates make their case for your vote

Hi! My name is Arielle Jackson. I am a junior in SAS and I am running to be your ASB President. I am the most qualified candidate because I have the experience, drive, and passion to improve our school. I have had my hand in almost every aspect of this school. I’ve joined countless clubs and created one of my own, taken part in many community service events, have been in ASB for 2 years, and have participated in the arts program. With this experience, I can make educated decisions that will positively improve your experience next year. As your president, I will listen to your ideas and work to execute them in the best way I can. I promise many more pep rallies, dances, fairs, and much more. My plans for next year include building an alumni network and creating a better relationship with members and businesses in our community. This could increase funding, internships, and events for our students. I also plan to fight back against bathroom closures which I hope will increase student morale and attendance. The largest contribution I want to make next year is to improve ASB. During my time in ASB, I’ve spearheaded homecoming and other large events and was elected a spot in the cabinet as ASB secretary. I want to fix our organization, communication, and accountability. I plan to structure ASB to improve the quality of events, clubs, sports, fundraisers, and community involvement. A vote for me is a vote for the betterment of our school. So, vote for the best, vote for Arielle Jackson!

Vote for me, Kaaria Lopez-Spears, for ASB President! The definition of a leader is one that finds solutions to problems and gives the voiceless a voice. I will empower you to achieve your own greatness and to share your gifts throughout the school, thus catapulting you to achieve it in the world. I am a team player and want to ensure your voice is heard. I have a lot of experience such as being a leader in ASB for two years while also being the chair of media. This makes me qualified to be able to create a positive environment so that I can advocate for students of different backgrounds to come together to make Hamilton a place of exceptional academics and fun. I am a passionate athlete for the girls' varsity soccer team. I have amazing plans for the upcoming school year and hope to create a community of leaders. I will help you vibrate higher and build on the positive changes that my predecessor work tirelessly for, such as opening up the lines of communication with staff and administration to fulfill the needs of the students. Humanities freshman Rami Gereboff describes his time so far at Hamilton as enjoyable and fun. "My favorite part of the semester was hanging out, eating pizza, and learning new clubs," he says.

AMPA Freshman Rene Hernandez describes his favorite thing about his first semester at Hamilton as how it felt fun and new. "My favorite thing from last year was meeting lots of new people and teachers," he shares.
