Hamilton High School baseball team’s recent win was a real thrill, as the Yankees beat North Hollywood High 4-3 on the Monday afternoon before spring break. The players showed incredible teamwork and skill, making it a memorable victory. Coming off a devastating loss to Culver City, the Yankees were ready to come back and show why they are considered one of the best teams in the league. The game was truly a highlight of the 2023-2024 season, leaving fans cheering for more action-packed moments.
“Today was a good win,” said baseball head coach Ryan Odums. “Our team is improving every game and hopefully we keep this winning feeling going.”
Returning from spring break, the baseball team had a tough road, though, losing to Palisades 4-5, but getting their revenge the next game, winning 6-5. With this impressive win, the Yankees had momentum heading into their next game against Carson High School, but sadly fell short, losing 10-0.
The win before spring break was a great way for the team’s momentum to move forward. The players will likely try to still hold to that positive energy and determination after last week’s game, aiming for even more victories.
“These games have really been all over the place,” says Robert Mercado. “Almost every game is always a close game, we just have to keep focus and win.”
