Jewelry Club Helps You Tap Into Your Feminine Side

This cute and artsy club known as the “Jewelry Club,” can be found in room number 605. The energy generates positivity and good vibes from each and every member.

The president of the fashion and jewelry club is Megan, a senior in SAS, who works alongside Maddie, the vice president and co-founder. We also have Zjena the secretary and Tallulah the treasurer. They all dedicate themselves to organizing and putting together this club every week.

The process behind starting their own club came from the common interests for fashion and jewelry making shared amongst themselves as well as mutual friends.

“I was really passionate about it and I decided to start one to share my hobbies with other people,” is what Maddie’s initial idea was going into this.

A fine portion of the supplies and materials used were accommodated by school peers or their parents. A known contributor to this club is named Caroline Tamayo, a senior in SAS. She has donated a greatly appreciated amount of strings for jewelry, and a wide assortment of beads.

This club meets every other Thursday at lunch and you may contribute with your own materials. All genders are welcome, male, female, non binary, as long as you go with the intention and positive curiosity regarding this environment.

You can sign up whenever you feel it is time, however it’s not a club you must attend every week. They’re very flexible with whoever may want to join’s schedule and will always show hospitality.

“It’s lots of fun and if you like art this is the club for you,” Megan insists enthusiastically, aiming to expand the club’s occupancy.

You’ll be able to experience: a sense of therapy, serotonin, much needed self-care, quality alone time or a good time spent with friends just making beautiful pieces of jewelry. This is a substantial form of self expression as well.

Each and every person that attends the jewelry and fashion club is very helpful and would lend anyone a hand if they don’t have much experience in making jewelry. Having a genuine interest in learning how to make jewelry is highly noticed in new members.

Jewelry club is an incredible opportunity to be more involved with Hamilton, if you’re antisocial or if you simply would like to fill your time at lunch creating art with your friends.

Caroline expressed, “Everyone is nice and here for the same reason which I love!”
