Both schools played with their all and showed great teamwork. The game had really good energy and the crowd showed amazing encouragement, waving signs of support. Throughout the game there were high emotions coming from the players. Elsa Miller, a senior in Humanities, said,“It was really fun.”
After the game, the players expressed their love for one another and the bond that they created within the team.
Jessica Amador, a senior in AMPA, said, ” We actually all met through basketball. But we have a really good connection.”
Another team member, Amira Flowers, a senior in Humanities, said she’ll miss their “connection, like all of us talk really well together, we have a good time playing. I think we’re gonna all miss that.”
The girls entered the court with energy and determination and left the court exhilarated. They crushed their game and made many more memories together. Their bond will carry on beyond basketball since now they’re not only teammates but also family.
